What this notice covers
This notice describes the information used when you read bk8-malaysia.app and use its on-page controls. The guide is an independent affiliate information website. It does not operate a BK8 customer account, and this notice does not govern information you give to BK8 or to another external website.
You can read the pages without registering. Choosing a language, opening a table of contents or expanding an FAQ answer does not create a customer profile. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy are available from the footer in every site language.
Information you do not need to provide
The guide has no registration, login, payment, newsletter, comment or identity-document upload form. It does not ask for your name, telephone number, identity number, password or card details. It has no on-site gambling account database.
Do not enter account information into the address bar or add personal details to a page URL. A URL can become part of a browser history or a server request. A link labelled for login takes you to an external service; it is not a login form operated by this guide.
The privacy-notice preference
After you choose the notice button, the site stores one preference in your browser’s local storage. Its key is bk8-guide-privacy and its value is essential. The value records only that the notice was dismissed with essential settings; it contains no name, account number or unique visitor identifier.
The site’s script reads that value to decide whether to show the notice again. It does not send the value to an analytics endpoint. Language is taken from the page URL and is not saved in a language cookie or a separate preference profile.
Information involved in serving a page
Requesting a page sends ordinary connection information to the server delivering it. This can include the IP address, requested address, request time and browser headers. These requests allow the server to return the page and its images, styles and scripts.
The site code includes no analytics script, advertising pixel, remote font, embedded video, social widget or session-replay tool. Its page assets are served with the website. This does not mean that hosting systems cannot produce connection or error logs: server records are separate from the browser preference described here.
External links and affiliate attribution
The guide links to BK8, source documents, review platforms and independent support organisations. Opening one of those links starts a separate interaction with its destination. The destination can receive your connection information and apply its own storage or account procedures.

How long browser information remains
The preference has no expiry timer in the site code. It remains in the same browser profile until you delete it, the browser clears it or storage becomes unavailable. It is not automatically synchronised by this site to another browser or device.
Clearing this domain’s site data removes the saved preference and may cause the notice to appear again. It does not erase a BK8 account or request deletion of any hosting logs. Browser history, downloaded files and information already supplied to an external service have their own separate controls.
Choices you can make
You can read the guide when local storage is blocked or unavailable. The notice may reappear because the site cannot remember its dismissal. There is no optional analytics or advertising category to switch on in the current interface.
- Use your browser’s site-data settings to remove the saved preference for this domain.
- Use Privacy settings in the footer to reopen the notice; reopening alone does not delete data.
- Check the destination’s own privacy controls for information supplied after an external link.
- Address requests about a BK8 customer record to the operator that holds that record.
